Wichita State Shockers vs. Tulsa Golden Hurricane
Tulsa is one of the most efficient offensive teams in the country, ranking 12th in points per possession and 5th in 3-point shooting percentage at 38.9%. Wichita State generates much of its offense through second chances, rebounding 37.8% of its missed shots as offensive rebounds in games played away from home (4th nationally). However, in what could be a tight game, Tulsa holds a clear edge at the free-throw line, ranking 20th in free-throw shooting percentage at 77.8%, while Wichita State ranks just 320th at 68.2%.
Pick: Tulsa -4 and Over 152.5
Greg’s Handicap: Tulsa -6 and Total 154

St. Joseph’s Hawks vs. New Mexico Lobos

The Lobos’ strength is perimeter defense, ranking 16th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage at 30.4%, along with 42nd in turnovers per possession forced. St. Joseph’s is more focused on scoring inside, as the team ranks 325th in 3-point shooting percentage (30.9%), but offsets that with solid defense—ranking 53rd in opponent 3-point shooting percentage (31.7%) and 37th in opponent 2-point shooting percentage—despite ranking just 238th in points per possession on offense.
Pick: St. Joseph’s +11.5 and Under 153.5
Greg’s Handicap: St. Joseph’s +9.5 and Total 145.5
