6:45 p.m. ET: Atlanta Braves (-155, 9) at Washington Nationals

This is the third game of a four-game series. The Braves (16-8) won the opener 9-4, taking care of business as -160 road favorites. Then the Nationals (11-13) bounced back with an 11-4 win yesterday, coming through as +135 home dogs.

In tonight’s rematch, the Braves start righty Didier Fuentes (0-0, 2.25 ERA) and the Nationals counter with fellow righty Zack Littell (0-2, 7.11 ERA).

This line opened with Atlanta listed as a -140 road favorite and Washington a +120 home dog.

Sharps have jumped on the Braves laying relatively modest chalk, driving Atlanta up from -140 to -155.

At DraftKings, the Braves are taking in 79% of moneyline bets and 90% of moneyline dollars. At Circa, Atlanta is taking in 71% of moneyline bets and 93% of moneyline dollars. Both book are showing a “low bets, higher dollars” sharp one-way split in favor of the road chalk.

Atlanta has betting system value as a non-division favorite, with the lack of familiarity benefiting the “better” team who is expected to win the game.

The Braves are hitting .272 against righties this season (2nd) while the Nationals are hitting .242 (14th).

Atlanta is 5-2 (71%) off a loss this season, generating a 16% ROI.

The Braves are 8-4 on the road. The Nationals are 3-8 at home, the worst home record in MLB.

7:40 p.m. ET: Philadelphia Phillies at Chicago Cubs (-175, 8)

The Cubs (14-9) have taken the first two games of this four-game series, winning the opener 5-1 as -115 home favorites and then winning again last night 7-4 as -130 home favorites.

In tonight’s rematch, the Phillies (8-15) tap lefty Kyle Backhus (0-0, 5.40 ERA) and the Cubs turn to fellow southpaw Matthew Boyd (1-1, 6.75 ERA).

This line opened with Chicago listed as a -165 home favorite and Philadelphia a +145 road dog.

Sharps are riding the hot hand and have gone back to the well with the Cubs at Wrigley, driving Chicago up from -165 to -175.

At Circa, the Cubs are taking in 80% of moneyline bets and a whopping 99% of moneyline dollars, a notable “low bets, higher dollars” sharp split in their favor from the wiseguys in the desert.

We’ve also seen pro money back Chicago on the run-line (-1.5 at +125), as the Cubs are taking in 50% of spread bets and 81% of spread dollars at Circa as well.

Chicago has correlative betting value as a favorite in a low total game (8), with the fewer amount of expected runs scored more likely to come from the “better” team who is expected to win.

The Cubs have the edge at the plate, hitting .255 with a .350 OBP and 124 runs scored compared to the Phillies only hitting .218 with a .298 OBP and a 80 runs scored.

Chicago is hitting .275 against lefties (5th) while Philadelphia is only hitting .171 against southpaws (30th and dead last in MLB).

The Cubs are 9-5 at home. The Phillies are 3-5 on the road.

9:40 p.m. ET: Chicago White Sox at Arizona Diamondbacks (-155, 9)

The White Sox (9-14) won last night’s Interleague series opener 11-5, cashing as +120 road dogs.

In tonight’s rematch, the White Sox tap lefty Anthony Kay (1-0, 2.60 ERA) and the Diamondbacks (13-10) turn to fellow southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez (1-0, 1.95 ERA).

This line opened with Arizona listed as a -145 home favorite and Chicago a +125 road dog.

Sharps have laid the wood with the Snakes in a bounce back spot, steaming Arizona up from -145 to -155.

At Circa, the Diamondbacks are receiving 86% of moneyline bets and 99% of moneyline dollars, a heavy “low bets, higher dollars” one-way bet split in favor of Arizona to earn a victory from the sharps in the desert.

Wiseguys have also leaned on the Arizona run-line (-1.5 at +135), as the Snakes are taking in 50% of spread bets and 99% of spread dollars at Circa along with 56% of spread bets and 88% of spread dollars at DraftKings.

Arizona has betting system value as an Interleague favorite, with the lack of familiarity benefiting the “better” team who is expected to win.

The Diamondbacks have the better bats, hitting .242 with 104 runs scored compared to the White Sox hitting .218 with 93 runs scored.

Arizona is hitting .284 against lefties (1st) while Chicago is hitting .228 (19th). The Snakes also have the better bullpen, sporting an ERA of 4.40 compared to 5.73 for the White Sox.

The Diamondbacks are 7-4 at home. The White Sox are 6-8 on the road.
