Philadelphia Phillies vs. Toronto Blue Jays 7:07 PM ET
Alec Bohm Over 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBIs (-164 per DraftKings)
After a successful series against the Chicago White Sox, the Philadelphia Phillies head north for another interleague matchup, this time against the Toronto Blue Jays. One of the biggest reasons for the Phillies’ recent success has been the resurgence of Alec Bohm, who has been swinging a hot bat over the past week.
Over his last seven games, Bohm is batting .346 with a .538 slugging percentage, while recording 9 hits, 6 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. He has gone over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs in four of his last five games and in five of his last ten overall.
The Blue Jays are expected to send veteran left-hander Patrick Corbin to the mound tonight. Having spent several seasons with the Nationals, Corbin is a pitcher the Phillies lineup knows well, and Bohm has enjoyed plenty of success against him. In 27 career at-bats, Bohm is hitting .370 with a 1.137 OPS.
Bohm has also been noticeably better against left-handed pitching this season, posting a .229 batting average and a .457 slugging percentage. While those numbers may not jump off the page, they are significantly stronger than his production against right-handed pitching.
Historically, Bohm has been a streaky hitter, and when he gets locked in, he tends to stay hot for extended stretches. Right now, he appears to be in one of those stretches, making this a favorable spot for him to continue producing against a familiar pitcher.

The Washington Nationals enter this series fresh off a weekend series victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks and now sit at the .500 mark on the season. Their West Coast trip continues tonight as they head to San Francisco to take on the Giants.
Veteran right-hander Miles Mikolas takes the mound for Washington, and strikeouts have not been a major part of his game this season. He enters tonight with a 5.75 K/9 rate, down from his career average of 6.40 K/9.
Through 13 games pitched this year, Mikolas has finished under 3.5 strikeouts in eight of them, including six of his seven road outings. While Oracle Park is generally considered a pitcher-friendly environment, the Giants are not a team that strikes out at a particularly high rate. They currently rank among the 10 teams with the fewest strikeouts in Major League Baseball despite having played more games than several teams ahead of them.
Mikolas has always relied more on command, pitch efficiency, and inducing weak contact than generating swings and misses. Against a disciplined Giants lineup in a ballpark that rewards pitchers who can pitch to contact, this matchup sets up well for another outing where Mikolas falls short of the four-strikeout mark.
