Game: Clemson Tigers at Boston College Eagles

Date: October 11th at 7:30 PM ET

Where to Watch: ACC Network

Clemson finally secured its first Power Four win of the season last week in Chapel Hill. This week, the Tigers hit the road again, traveling further north to face Boston College. While UNC hasn’t lived up to expectations this season, Clemson dominated from the opening kickoff and never let up. The offense looked sharp early, and the defense held strong throughout most of the game. It will be interesting to see if they can carry that momentum into this week’s matchup against BC.

Boston College enters this contest at 1-4, having dropped four straight games. The Eagles managed to stay competitive from game 2 through 4 but were overwhelmed by Pitt in last week’s 48–7 loss. It’s been a struggle on both sides of the ball, as BC ranks 86th nationally in points per game and 121st in opponent points allowed. This appears to be another spot where Clemson should take care of business and continue to steer its season back on track.

Betting Trends

After covering their first game of the season last week against UNC, Clemson enters this matchup at 1-4 ATS, including a 1-1 record on the road. Totals in Clemson games have leaned toward the under, which has hit in three of five contests, with one over and one push. On the road, the under has hit once, accompanied by one push.

Boston College sits at 2-3 ATS on the season, including 1-1 at home, but remains winless in ACC play at 0-3 ATS. Totals have trended slightly toward the over, which has hit in three of BC’s five games. At home, the over and under have split evenly (1-1), while in conference play, BC has recorded one over, one under, and one push.

Final Thoughts

If last week’s performance didn’t give Clemson a confidence boost, I’m not sure what else could. I expect the Tigers to build on that momentum and enter this matchup with the same focus and energy, leading them to cover the spread once again. As for the total, this feels like a spot to stay away from the over/under.
