2:00 PM Eastern
Alcorn State Braves vs. Prairie View Panthers
Both teams do a nice job generating turnovers, with Alcorn State ranking 74th in turnovers per possession on defense while Prairie View ranks 35th. However, there should be plenty of possessions in this game with Prairie View ranking 14th in total possessions per game. Both teams also put opponents on the free throw line, as Alcorn State ranks 292nd in free throw attempts allowed per opponent field goal attempt while Prairie View ranks 347th. Prairie View should also find success inside, as Alcorn State ranks 359th in opponent two-point shooting percentage.
Picks: Prairie View -4.5 and Over 145 (Greg’s Handicap Prairie View -5.5 and Total 149.5)
3:00 PM Eastern
Utah Utes vs. Cincinnati Bearcats
Utah has been lackluster defensively, ranking 326th in points per possession allowed. Cincinnati has been strong on defense but weak offensively, ranking 229th in points per possession on offense compared to 17th in points per possession allowed on defense. However, their defense drops off significantly away from home, allowing 19.3 more points per 100 possessions and ranking 116th in points per possession allowed on the road. Utah also ranks 24th nationally in road three-point shooting percentage at 37.5%.
Picks: Utah +11.5 and Over 138.5 (Greg’s Handicap Utah +8.5 and Total 142.5)

Both teams have struggled recently, and SMU is now without their leader in steals, B.J. Edwards. Their defense ranks 187th in points per possession allowed but gets some help against a Syracuse offense that struggles with fundamentals, ranking 360th in free throw shooting percentage at 64.9% and grabbing just 26.2% of their missed shots as offensive rebounds (256th). Syracuse’s defense has slipped to 116th in points per possession allowed and opponents shoot 36.9% from three in road and neutral games against them, while SMU ranks 23rd in three-point shooting at 37.8%.
Picks: SMU -4.5 and Under 156.5 (Greg’s Handicap SMU -6 and Total 154)
5:00 PM Eastern
Maryland Terrapins vs. Oregon Ducks
Both defenses have struggled significantly, with Maryland ranking 315th in points per possession allowed and Oregon 237th. While both offenses have had issues, each team creates second chances as Maryland grabs 31.4% of their misses (93rd) while Oregon ranks 96th in offensive rebound percentage. Neither defense generates many turnovers, with Maryland ranking 299th and Oregon 241st in turnovers forced per possession.
Pick: Maryland vs. Oregon Over 138.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 141.5)
6:30 PM Eastern
Florida International Panthers vs. Missouri State Bears
Florida International holds an edge on the perimeter, as Missouri State shoots just 32.4% from three (262nd) while FIU ranks 123rd at 35%. FIU also ranks 25th in turnovers forced per possession on defense. In a close game, free throw shooting could matter, and Missouri State ranks just 330th nationally at 67.9%, while FIU ranks 277th at 69.7%.
Picks: Florida International +1.5 and Under 154 (Greg’s Handicap Florida International -2.5 and Total 150.5)
9:00 PM Eastern
Siena Saints vs. Merrimack Warriors
Siena has a clear edge on the glass, ranking 106th in rebound percentage while Merrimack ranks 362nd. Inside the arc, Siena ranks 130th in two-point shooting percentage while Merrimack ranks 266th. Merrimack’s strength at the free throw line (fifth nationally at 78.8%) is somewhat neutralized by Siena allowing the 23rd-fewest free throw attempts per field goal attempt in the country.
Pick: Siena +2.5 (Greg’s Handicap Siena -1.5)
Jacksonville State Gamecocks vs. New Mexico State Aggies
Neither team pushes the pace, with New Mexico State ranking 212th in possessions per game and Jacksonville State 291st. Jacksonville State also sees a significant drop in three-point shooting away from home, shooting 39.8% at home compared to 31.4% on the road. Defensively, Jacksonville State has been strong on the glass away from home, ranking 18th in defensive rebound percentage with opponents grabbing just 24.1% of their missed shots as offensive rebounds.
Pick: Jacksonville State vs. New Mexico State Under 141.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 133.5)
