The 2026 BNP Paribas Open is in full swing at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and Wednesday, March 11 brings another loaded slate of ATP and WTA action from Tennis Paradise. We’ve broken down the day’s best tennis betting picks for Indian Wells, digging into matchup tactics, court conditions, and current form to find the sharpest edges on the board. Whether you’re betting the moneyline, game spread, set spread, or total, our 2026 BNP Paribas Open best bets are built to help you profit all the way through the men’s final on Sunday, March 15. I’m dropping some of my favorite plays below, but make sure you also monitor the picks page throughout the day. I generally have a few more picks over there, plus I occasionally add plays based on how lines are moving. That’s also where Gill Alexander posts his best bets.
Jack Draper vs. Novak Djokovic
Embed from Getty ImagesI haven’t exactly been impressed with Draper since he came back from a lengthy injury absence, but there were real signs of life in his straight-set win over Francisco Cerundolo. Draper looked to be moving a little better in that match, and he was able to win some of the long, physical rallies that were getting away from him in previous matches. Now, the Brit is suddenly looking like a dangerous player in the desert, which is exactly how a defending champion should look.
Naturally, just as Draper starts to find his game, he’s tasked with beating the greatest player in the history of tennis. That’s brutal timing. However, I do believe the southpaw is up for the challenge, and the venue has a lot to do with that.
Djokovic just hasn’t played well at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden lately. While he is a five-time champion here, things have looked pretty ugly for the Serbian since 2018. In fact, before picking up a couple of wins in this year’s tournament, Djokovic was 2-4 in his previous six matches here — with losses coming against Taro Daniel, Philipp Kohlschreiber, Luca Nardi, and Botic van de Zandschulp. Djokovic feels like he’s at risk of losing to anybody in this tournament these days, and Draper isn’t just anybody. He’s a big server with serious weapons from the back of the court, and he played the best tennis of his life in this venue 12 months ago.
I just wouldn’t be surprised if Draper does a good job of coasting through his service games, and I believe Djokovic is going to have a hard time playing the kind of offense that has allowed him to play elite-level tennis to start 2026. These conditions just make it very difficult to play aggressive tennis consistently.
I’ll also note that Djokovic hasn’t played all that well this week. Sure, he has found a way through to the Round of 16, but he beat Kamil Majchrzak and Aleksandar Kovacevic to get here. Maybe he would have lost to those guys in previous years, but peak Djokovic doesn’t need three sets to beat those guys either.
Bet: Draper ML (+112)
Alex Michelsen vs. Daniil Medvedev
Medvedev is somebody I was looking to fade heading into this tournament, as I thought he’d struggle to find his best tennis after having made the mad dash out of Dubai late last week. His travel buddies, Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov, both lost their opening matches, and I figured Medvedev could be ripe for an early upset. However, the Russian did have a favorable draw, facing two clay-court specialists in the opening rounds. Medvedev beat Alejandro Tabilo 6-4, 6-2 and then followed that up with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Sebastian Baez. At this point, Medvedev is probably over last week and looking to make a deep run in the desert. But even if he is laser-focused, he has a tough opponent on deck.
Michelsen is playing some great tennis this week, as he looked insanely sharp in wins over Ugo Humbert and Taylor Fritz. Michelsen actually posted a Performance Rating of 8.21 in the win over Fritz, doing awesome work as a returner and hitting his backhand really well in the second set. Well, those are two things that I think will give him a good shot against Medvedev.
Medvedev has done a lot of work to improve his serve this season, and he has seen good results thus far. However, he’s nothing special with the ball on his racquet anymore, and Michelsen should get into his service games. Also, while Medvedev has one of the best backhands on tour, Michelsen could eventually get there. His two-hander is a thing of beauty, and it held up really well against Fritz’s world-class backhand.
If Michelsen just continues to attack well, I think this is a match he’ll have a real chance of winning.
Bet: Michelsen +1.5 Sets (-110 – 1.5 units) & Michelsen ML (+275 – 0.5 units)
