Sunday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Sunday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m going to keep these much shorter to cut down on my workload a little.

Jake McCarthy Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110) vs. Phillies

Phillies at Rockies – 3:10 pm ET

McCarthy is off to a miserable start to the season, but I like him to get back on track here. He’ll get to face a mediocre righty in Taijuan Walker, and he’ll be doing so at Coors Field. McCarthy has always been a borderline masher against righties, and Walker isn’t a tough enough matchup to scare me off the 28-year-old in a game with the highest total on the board.

Jeff McNeil Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+115) vs. Astros

Astros at Athletics – 4:05 pm ET

This game doesn’t have as high of a total as Phillies-Rockies, but the number is up at 10. That said, this should be a pretty high-scoring game, and we should see some decent stats from unexpected sources. Well, I’m looking at McNeil as a player that could do some damage tonight. McNeil isn’t anything like the hitter he was in his best days with the Mets, but I think he can take advantage of a matchup with Lance McCullers Jr. The righty is coming off a disaster of a 2025 campaign, and I’m not ready to believe he’s back.
