Friday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Friday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Brandon Ingram Over 20.5 Points (-118) vs. Knicks

Raptors at Knicks – 7:30 pm ET

Ingram has torched the Knicks this season. In four meetings with New York, he’s averaging 25.8 points per game. He has also scored at least 27 points in each of his last three against the Knicks. And realistically, given everything we’ve seen from New York this year, it isn’t that surprising. Due to how often Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns leave the better Knicks defenders scrambling, bigger wings have had success putting up numbers against New York. Ingram also happens to be coming into this matchup with some real momentum. He averaged 30.5 points per game in a two-game baseball series against Miami leading up to this. He has been seeing his shots go down, and he should step up in a big game for the Raptors.

Jared McCain Over 19.5 Points (+104) vs. Nuggets

Thunder at Nuggets – 9:00 pm ET

Oklahoma City is resting every rotation player on the roster tonight, so a ton of of production will need to be replaced. Well, give me McCain to take advantage of a strong matchup. We know McCain can get hot in a hurry, and he has scored at least 20 points in the last two games he has played without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Ajay Mitchell. The Nuggets are also a bottom-10 team when looking at adjusted defensive rating (116.6). That said, with McCain having a green light tonight, there’s a chance he really burns some triples. But I’ll take the point total over the threes made props, as McCain is a better driver than he is given credit for.
