Friday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Friday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.
Brandon Miller Over 4.5 Rebounds (-145) vs. Heat

Miller has had at least five rebounds in each of the last five games. He’s doing a good job of using his length to help on the boards, which is admirable considering he’s a player that has been injury prone throughout his career. Well, I like Miller to have another five rebounds in tonight’s meeting with the Heat. Miami is a solid rebounding team, so this isn’t the best matchup in that regard. However, the Heat still play at the fastest pace in the NBA, and they’re going to speed the Hornets up.
More possessions in an NBA game means more shot attempts. And more shot attempts means more rebound opportunities. That should be beneficial for Miller in his attempt to stay hot on the glass. This year, Miller has played 10 games against teams in the top-5 in pace, going Over 4.5 boards in nine of those contests. He’s also averaging 5.6 rebounds per game when facing those teams.
Oso Ighodaro Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105) vs. Pelicans
Pelicans at Suns – 9:00 pm ET
Ighodaro has been a good Over bet when playing without Mark Williams this season. Well, Williams is out for the next 2-3 weeks, so Ighodaro will be playing a ton moving forward. I expect him to run with the opportunity. The way I’d suggest targeting Ighodaro is by going with his PRA totals, as he’s a well-rounded player and a stat-sheet stuffer. He had 31 combined points, rebounds, and assists against the Kings two games ago, then he followed it up with 23 against the Bulls last night. Tonight, Ighodaro gets a crack at a New Orleans team that is 28th in the NBA defending at the rim, 21st in rebound rate (49.2%), and 27th in assists per game allowed (28.0). Ighodaro, with his athleticism and high basketball IQ, should find the cracks in this team.
