2025-26 NBA Record: 276-255 (+12.42 units)
Tuesday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Tuesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.
Dillon Brooks Over 15.5 Points (-127) vs. 76ers
Suns at 76ers – 7:00 pm ET
Brooks is averaging 21.0 points per game this season, so it was an easy decision to jump on his Over at 15.5 tonight. That number is now up to 16.5, but I’d still go Over here. Brooks has scored at least 17 points in 27 of the 37 games he has played this year, and the Sixers aren’t the most difficult matchup in the world. Philadelphia is just 27th in the NBA defending at the rim, and the team is also 26th defending long mid-range jumpers. Well, Brooks scores 33% of his points from those two spots, and he’s also good to knock down some triples, get a few extra points at the line, and possibly even do a little more in transition.
I understand Jalen Green will be returning to action tonight, meaning some shots will be taken away from other rotation players. However, I believe Brooks’ role with this team is pretty cemented. He’s going to play big minutes because of his two-way toughness, and the team is going to give him chances to score in isolation. Brooks’ usage rate might drop a little from the 27.4% he’s at right now. But even if it goes down to 22-23%, he’ll be scoring 18 or so on most nights.
Victor Wembanyama Over 22.5 Points (-110) vs. Rockets
Spurs at Rockets – 8:00 pm ET
The Spurs played a game last night, so there’s no guarantee Wembanyama will play this evening. However, he did play back-to-back games on January 10 and 11, and he averaged 26.5 minutes per game in those contests. If Wembanyama approaches those minutes tonight, I feel good about him scoring at least 23 points. In fact, in the games this year in which Wembanyama has played between 25 and 28 minutes, he’s averaging 23.4 points per game. That said, he regularly goes Over tonight’s mark even when playing less than he’d like.
I also love the matchup for Wembanyama tonight. Houston is currently playing without Steven Adams, meaning Wembanyama should be able to dominate inside for San Antonio. There’s also a chance Tari Eason misses this game for the Rockets, meaning another physical defender that could be out of the lineup.
Wembanyama is also on a heater coming into this one, averaging 36.0 points per game over the last two contests.
LeBron James Over 22.5 Points (-114) vs. Nuggets
Embed from Getty ImagesLakers at Nuggets – 10:00 pm ET
Austin Reaves is still out for the Lakers, so this is another game in which LeBron should go off. In games in which LeBron has Luka Doncic and doesn’t have Reaves, the legend is averaging 26.9 points per game. He has also gone Over this point total in 11 of the 13 games. There’s just something to LeBron being able to play off one of the best shot creators in the game while also having some chances to run the offense himself.
The Nuggets are also a pretty decent matchup for LeBron. While they’re playing well with Nikola Jokic on the sidelines, they’re just 29th in raw defensive rating (120.9) over the last 15 games.
