Today on VSiN: “The Most Memorable Sports Betting Moments of 2025.” Our Top 10 list will be broadcast on a special show from 1-2 p.m. ET. Tim Murray presides with special appearances by the hosts most affected by the moments on the list. Adam Burke put together the list of Nos. 11-20.
Heating up in Big Ten
Greetings from Chicago, where I can confirm it is single-digit cold.
I’m on a trip with VSiN founder Brian Musburger, and he asked me the inevitable question: Have you watched any college basketball yet?
This is about the time of year when I start paying attention. After all, the Super Bowl will be here and gone before you know it—and then March Madness is right around the corner.
I was happy to report that yes, I had officially watched my first full college basketball game of the season. And I picked a good one: Illinois’ 88–82 win over Purdue on Saturday, highlighted by a monster 46-point performance from Illini freshman Keaton Wagler.
Tonight brings another marquee Big Ten matchup worth watching—and maybe betting. Undefeated Nebraska (+10.5) heads to Ann Arbor to face one-loss Michigan (7 ET).
Adam Burke weighs:
This Nebraska vs. Michigan game shows how oddsmakers and bettors account for the quality of opponent.
It doesn’t hurt that Michigan, who has played the second-toughest schedule per Bart Torvik and seventh-toughest per KenPom, owns Quadrant 1 wins by 4, 40, 30, 40, and 10 points in the five qualifying games that they’ve played. Will they add another blowout victory to that list against Nebraska?
Greg “Hoops” Peterson also has an opinion on Nebraska-Michgian as part of his daily Best Bets column.
Greg posts handicapped lines every day and breaks down every game on the Coast-to-Coast Hoops podcast throughout the season.
Adam offers his college basketball Best Bets Monday–Saturday, available mid-morning on our college basketball page. You’ll also find Tyler Shoemaker’s picks, based on his men’s and women’s power ratings, Monday–Thursday.

Let the seven-figure bets begin
Back in Las Vegas, Circa sportsbook operations chief Jeff Benson reported that a $1.1 million bet came in on Monday: Patriots moneyline at +188 to win ~$2.1 million.
FYI: As of late Monday, all the sportsbooks we track on VSiN.com were at Seahawks -4.5.
The Circa crew has brought back its version of “Super Bowl squares.” Instead of picking your square from a hat with your co-workers, you can choose the square you want with odds based on the probability of that score happening.
Adam Burke has a primer on playing Circa-style squares.
