Chicago Bears
Projected Starters: Braxton Jones (LT), Joe Thuney (LG, Acquired via trade this year), Drew Dalman (C, Free agent pick up this year), Jonah Jackson (RG, Acquired via trade this year), Darnell Wright (RT)
The Chicago Bears will unveil an almost entirely new offensive line heading into the 2025 season, with new players at three of the five positions following a mediocre 2024 campaign. Given Caleb Williams’ tendency to extend plays with his legs and move around in the pocket, the front office recognized the need to provide their young quarterback with more time to operate. Run blocking was also a key area of focus, as the Bears will need to establish a stronger ground game to improve their chances in an extremely competitive division.

Detroit Lions
Projected Starters: Taylor Decker (LT), Christian Mahogany (LG), Tate Ratledge (Rookie C), Graham Glasgow (RG), Penei Sewell (RT)
Coming off a strong showing in the 2024 season, the Detroit Lions will have to say goodbye to both offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and veteran center Frank Ragnow. While most of the offensive line personnel will remain the same, they’ll be adjusting to a new scheme and breaking in rookie Tate Ratledge at center—a position he didn’t play extensively in college. Leadership from Penei Sewell will be crucial in building chemistry early in the season.

Green Bay Packers
Projected Starters: Rasheed Walker (LT), Aaron Banks (LG, Free agent pick up this year), Elgton Jenkins (C), Sean Rhyan (RG), Zach Tom (RT)
The Green Bay Packers are coming off a season in which they were expected to contend more strongly for the top of the division. However, the offensive line was not to blame, as it delivered a solid all-around performance compared to the rest of the NFL. The only change to the group is the addition of left guard Aaron Banks, so the unit should experience minimal issues with chemistry.

Minnesota Vikings
Projected Starters: Christian Darrisaw (LT), Donovan Jackson (Rookie LG), Ryan Kelly (C, Free agent pick up this year), Will Fries (RG, Free agent pick up this year), Brian O’neill (RT)
Perhaps the biggest surprise of 2024, the Minnesota Vikings put together a spectacular season with Sam Darnold under center. Much of last season’s success was thanks to the guys up front, but this year the team will feature new starters at left guard, center, and right guard, while also debuting quarterback J.J. McCarthy following his recovery from an ACL tear. If the offensive line can perform anywhere near the level it did last year, the Vikings will be well-positioned for continued success in 2025.
