Otto Lopez Over 0.5 Hits (-264 per DraftKings)

Otto Lopez has been a very versatile player for the Marlins up to this point in the season and has shown some discipline at the plate. He has been really consistent at the dish with 14 hits in 42 (.333 avg), and has recorded at least 1 hit in his last 3 games. Lopez also isn’t a big-time extra-base-hits guy, so he is much more reliable to just get a single and move on with your day, as opposed to needing him to get potentially multiple hits or a double plus on the total bases. Lopez also has a good track record against Cincinnati, with the highest hard-hit percentage on the Marlins at 52.9%. If he can just get a couple hard hits in play, he’s bound to get a hit today.

Nolan McLean Under 1.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-129 per DraftKings)

Nolan McLean appears to be molding into one of the better pitchers in the MLB, which is a scary sight for the NL East and the National League as a whole. In the 2 games he has already pitched this year, he has only allowed 3 runs, which makes his ERA .261 through 10.1 innings pitched. Crazy enough, with that good of an ERA, he is still off of where he was last season at 2.16. He’s going up against a lineup today that has been inconsistent to start the season, and he gets to enjoy the comfort of pitching in his home ballpark. McLean should be set up for a big day, and with his command/pitch mix, he should keep the basepaths clear for the most part.
