12:05 p.m. ET: Cincinnati Reds at Detroit Tigers (-185, 9)

This is the rubber match of a three-game series. The Tigers (46-26) won the opener 11-5, taking care of business as -140 home favorites. Then the Reds (36-35) bounced back with an 11-1 win yesterday, cashing as +155 road dogs.

In this afternoon’s series finale, the Reds start lefty Wade Miley (1-0, 9.00) and the Tigers turn to righty Sawyer Gipson-Long (0-0, 4.32 ERA).

This line opened with Detroit listed as a -170 home favorite and Cincinnati a +145 road dog.

Sharps aren’t scared off by the expensive chalk and have laid the wood with the Tigers, steaming Detroit up from -170 to -185.

At DraftKings, the Tigers are taking in 74% of moneyline bets and 78% of moneyline dollars, indicating one-way public and sharp support in favor of Detroit earning a victory and taking the series.

The Tigers have value as an Interleague favorite, with the lack of familiarity benefiting the “better” team who is expected to win.

Detroit is hitting .274 against lefties, the best in MLB. The Tigers are 18-7 (72%) off a loss this season, the 4th best “bounce back” team in MLB.

Detroit is 24-10 at home this season. Cincinnati is 18-19 on the road.

2:10 p.m. ET: Minnesota Twins at Houston Astros (-130, 8.5)

The Astros (40-30) have won the first two games of this three-game series, taking the opener 10-3 as a -105 home dog and then winning again yesterday 3-2 as -115 home favorites.

In this afternoon’s series finale, the Twins (36-34) hand the ball to righty Simeon Woods-Richardson (2-3, 5.74 ERA) and the Astros turn to lefty Brandon Walter (0-0, 1.64 ERA).

This line opened with Houston listed as a -125 home favorite and Minnesota a +105 road dog.

Sharps have jumped on the Astros at a cheap chalk price, driving Houston up from -125 to -130.

At Circa, Houston is taking in 50% of moneyline bets but 71% of moneyline dollars, a notable “low bets, higher dollars” sharp bet discrepancy and further evidence of the bigger wiseguy wagers out in Vegas banking on an Astros sweep.

The Astros have betting system value as a non-division favorite, with the lack of familiarity benefiting the “better” team who is expected to win.

Woods-Richardson is 0-2 with a 6.75 on the road this season.

The Astros are hitting .280 at home (1st in MLB) and .254 against righties (8th). Meanwhile, the Twins are hitting .235 on the road (21st) and .228 against lefties (21st).

Houston is 26-13 at home. Minnesota is 16-22 on the road.

Houston is 4-1 against Minnesota this season.

2:10 p.m. ET: St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers (-135, 8.5)

This is the final game of a four-game series.

The Brewers (38-34) won the opener 6-0 as +110 home games and took the second game 3-2 as -160 home favorites. Then the Cardinals (37-34) clawed back with an 8-5 win yesterday, cashing as +110 road dogs.

In this afternoon’s series finale, the Cardinals turn to righty Miles Mikolas (4-3, 4.48 ERA) and the Brewers go with fellow righty Quinn Priester (4-2, 3.65 ERA).

This line opened with Milwaukee listed as a -135 home favorite and St. Louis a +105 road dog.

At DraftKings, the Brewers are receiving 58% of moneyline bets and 71% of moneyline dollars. At Circa, Milwaukee is taking in 83% of moneyline bets and over 90% of moneyline dollars. Both books are showing a sharp “low bets, higher dollars” sharp bet split in favor of the Brew Crew at home.

Mikolas has a 7.36 ERA in two June starts, giving up 9 earned runs in 11 innings pitched. Priester has a 1.64 ERA in two June starts, only allowing 2 earned runs 11 innings pitched. He has given up 2 earned runs or less in six of his last seven starts.

Milwaukee is 22-15 at home. St. Louis is 15-20 on the road.
