Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens have been a solid team under Lamar Jackson, and their ATS record since 2020 reflects this as well. With the second-highest ATS percentage in the AFC North, the Ravens have posted a record of 50-38-3 (56.8%) since 2020. There were two trends in particular that contributed to this consistent cover rate: games where the Ravens are the underdog, and games where they are coming off a loss. In games as the underdog, they’ve covered 72.2% of the time (13-5-1), and in games following a loss, they have a cover rate of 71.4% (10-4-1). The main area where the Ravens faltered a little over this time frame was when they had a rest advantage, as they went 7-11-0 ATS (38.9%).

Since 2020, the Cincinnati Bengals have consistently been the most undervalued team in the AFC North and have an impressive record against the spread over that period. Over 90 games, the Bengals have maintained a record of 53-34-3 (60.9%) ATS. Cincinnati has an incredible record in games where they had a rest disadvantage; in 18 such games, they went 15-3-0 (83.3%). In a category with more games, the Bengals have also been impressive in non-division contests, covering 67.9% of the time (38-18-3). There were only two categories where the Bengals have been below 50% ATS since 2020, both just one game under the mark: division games with a record of 15-16 (48.4%), and games with a rest advantage, where they are 7-8-0 (46.7%).
Cleveland Browns
Unsurprisingly, the Cleveland Browns have been far and away the worst team ATS in the AFC North since 2020. In 87 games, the Browns have posted an ATS record of 37-49-1 (43%), making them the only team in the division below the 50% mark. The Browns have really only been consistent in covering games against teams from the NFC, going 14-9-1 (60.9%) in those matchups. Where the Browns have been consistently poor comes in games against other teams within the division and within the conference. In AFC North matchups, they hold a record of 11-20-0 (35.5%), and in AFC games overall, their record has been 23-40-0 (36.5%).
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers rank 3rd in the AFC North with their ATS record since 2020. The Steelers come in with a record of 49-38-1 (56.3%), just 0.5% behind second-place Baltimore Ravens. In games where Pittsburgh has a rest advantage and in games as a home underdog, they’ve been particularly effective over this period. With a rest advantage, they hold an 11-4-0 record (73.3%), and as a home underdog, they have a record of 10-4-1 (71.4%). The only regular-season area where the Steelers fall below a 50% cover rate is in games as the home favorite, with a record of 13-14-0 (48.1%).
