Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Keep reading for the top MLB player prop picks for June 11. Also, make sure you check out our live VSiN programming for more. Thursday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Thursday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day, but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. I go lighter on baseball than I do other sports. My MLB units are 50% of what my normal units are.
Mitch Keller Under 15.5 Outs (-117) vs. Dodgers
Dodgers at Pirates – 6:40 pm ET
Keller is a pretty reliable veteran when it comes to eating innings, but asking him to go out and shut down the Dodgers is another story. Keller is having a down season for Pittsburgh thus far, and he’s coming into this one on the heels of his worst two starts of the season. He gave up seven earned in 4.0 innings against the Twins, then he let up six earned on seven hits in 4.2 innings against the Braves. Well, I’m not sure a meeting with the best offense in baseball is the best medicine. The Dodgers are No. 1 in MLB in wRC+ (120), WAR (15.8), xwOBA (.353) and several other advanced metrics. There’s a good chance they chase Keller from this one.
Josh Naylor Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125) vs. Orioles
Embed from Getty ImagesMariners at Orioles – 7:05 pm ET
Naylor has gone Over 1.5 HRR in five of the last six games, and he’s averaging 2.0 HRR per game against right-handed pitching this season. The lefty slugger now gets to face Kyle Bradish. The 29-year-old has been stellar when pitching in Baltimore this season, and he came into this season off three consecutive years of posting an ERA of below 3.00. With that in mind, this isn’t the world’s greatest matchup. But I do think the Mariners are going to score some runs, and it’ll be hard for them to do that without Naylor showing up.
Ha-Seong Kim Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+115) vs. White Sox
Braves at White Sox – 7:40 pm ET
With the White Sox sending a southpaw to the mound, I wanted to find a right-handed bat on Atlanta to play tonight. Well, one that stood out to me was Kim. This isn’t a player you really think about with the Braves, but he’s a good righty bat going up against a lefty. He’s also projected to hit near the top of the lineup tonight. So, at plus-money odds, he’s someone I wanted to take a shot on.
