Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Tuesday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Tuesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. That’s also where you’ll find any late adds to my card.

Trea Turner Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-161) vs. Cubs

Cubs at Phillies – 6:40 pm ET

I don’t love giving out -161 plays, but I have a few juicy ones tonight. One of them is for Turner to have at least two combined hits, runs, and RBIs, which you can find at this price at prediction markets. I have mentioned this before, but I primarily shop normal books. However, you occasionally get some outrageously favorable numbers with the prediction markets, so you might want to see what they’re all about. In regards to the actual play here, Turner is coming off a game in which he went 2 for 4 with a homer against the Diamondbacks. Now, this elite talent will get to go to work against a lefty in Riley Martin. Well, last year, Turner averaged 2.6 HRR per game when playing at home against southpaws. The year before that, he was at 2.9 HRR in that situation.

Ryan Weathers Over 16.5 Outs Recorded (-120) vs. Angels

Angels at Yankees – 7:05 pm ET

In Weathers’ most recent start, the talented lefty pitched 8.0 innings of one-run ball, striking out seven in a stellar outing against the Athletics. The Yankees did go on to lose that game, but Weathers had little to do with that. He was awesome after having looked rather pedestrian in his first two starts in pinstripes. Well, I now like Weathers to build on his dominant performance and go at least 5.2 innings against the Angels. This Los Angeles team was near the bottom of the league in wRC+ (92) last year, and I’m not buying into the massive improvement we have seen this year — which has a lot to do with the Angels scoring 19 runs over the last two games and at least nine in three of the last four. That said, I still view this as a plus matchup for Weathers.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 18.5 Outs Recorded (+135) vs. Mets

Mets at Dodgers – 10:10 pm ET

I have essentially had a system in place to help me narrow down my MLB player props, which is something I started four days ago. So far, I have been having a good amount of success with it. Well, Yamamoto falls just short of what I’m looking for, but it’s close enough that I’m willing to make an exception given tonight’s matchup. This Mets team is down at 26th in MLB in wRC+ (85), and the team’s traditional numbers also happen to be miserable. With that in mind, I’m comfortable riding with an ace to flirt with a seven-inning performance. Yamamoto averaged 6.5 innings per game in games with totals of 8.0 or lower last season, and this one sits at 7.5 tonight.

Additional Best Bets

James McCann Over 0.5 Total Bases (-140) vs. Orioles

Eugenio Suarez Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100) vs. Giants

Matt Olson Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115) vs. Marlins

Michael King Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+105) vs. Mariners
