Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Tuesday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Tuesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. I’ll write three up per day, but I’ll add additional ones in an “Additional Best Bets” section. That’s also where you’ll find any late adds to my card. I go way lighter on these than I do NBA/NFL/CBB/CFB/Tennis. I also take a volume approach, as I’m working with a system I have found to be successful when it comes to shopping prices. My MLB units are 40% of what my normal units are.

Matt Olson Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-131) vs. Cubs

Cubs at Braves – 7:15 pm ET

Olson went 2 for 5 with two RBIs against the Dodgers on Saturday, then he followed it up with a homer in a win over that same LA team on Sunday. Now, after a day off, Olson will take on Colin Rea and the Cubs. This matchup has been kind to Olson in the past, as he is 4 for 8 with two doubles, a homer, and three RBIs against the righty in their brief head-to-head history. On top of that, Olson is averaging 2.9 combined hits, runs, and RBIs (HRR) per game against right-handed starters this season, and he has gone Over 1.5 HRR in 10 consecutive home games against righty starters. So, while this is a bit juicy, I’m riding with it.

Brice Turang Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125) vs. Padres

Padres at Brewers – 7:40 pm ET

Matt Waldron has a 7.71 ERA in four appearances for San Diego this season, making him one of the more beatable pitchers in this Padres rotation. Well, with that being the case, Turang is a player that could be in for a good game tonight. Turang comes into this game having gone Over 1.5 HRR in eight of the last 10 games, and he’s averaging 3.1 HRR per game in that span. Also, Turang has absolutely crushed righties this year, and he has gone Over 1.5 HRR in 17 of his 25 games against right-handed starters — averaging 3.0 HRR per game in those 25 games. This is just a plus matchup for a red-hot hitter, so let’s hope he can keep it up.

Nolan Arenado Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+110) vs. Rangers

Diamondbacks at Rangers – 8:05 pm ET

Last year, Arenado averaged 2.1 HRR per game when facing left-handed starters. This year, he’s averaging 2.1 HRR per game against southpaws, though those numbers are admittedly skewed by a big game against the White Sox on April 22. Still, Arenado is a player that can really do damage against lefties, even if his best baseball is far behind him. Well, it’ll be lefty MacKenzie Gore on the mound for the Rangers tonight, so Arenado should be excited to get out there this evening. Arenado has actually had success against Gore, going 4 for 12 with a double, a homer, and five RBIs against him. That’s just another reason to like the veteran to come through tonight.
