Milwaukee Brewers vs. Washington Nationals 6:45 PM ET

CJ Abrams Over 0.5 Hits (-156 per DraftKings)

Last night the Nationals polished off their series against the Mets, with a 5-4 win, and CJ Abrams was on fire the entire series, as he accumulated 6 hits in 11 at-bats. He looks to carry that momentum into a new series at home against the Milwaukee Brewers, who will be pitching an arm this Nationals lineup hasn’t seen before in Jacob Misiorowski.

Misiorowski has been sharp this season, as he has a 3.31 ERA, and a 1.10 WHIP in 32.2 innings of work. He has given up some hits recently, as he’s given up 15 in his last 3 starts. Abrams has his average back up close to .300, as he is currently .296 on the season, and he had a .308 average in the month of April.

Being back at home, he has to be filled with confidence, and I expect him to keep the bat hot going into this series against the Brewers.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Miami Marlins 7:10 PM ET

Adolis Garcia Over 1.5 Total Bases (+150 per DraftKings)

The Philadelphia Phillies finally won their first series since the beginning of April, and it was in large part due to the consistency from Adolis Garcia over the past few games. Garcia managed to record 4 hits in 11 ABs in the series against the Giants and had 5 total bases across the 3 games.

Across his last 10 games, he has had at least 2 total bases in 5 of those games, and his batting average is continuing to rise, from his slow start at the beginning of April. His stats also don’t fall off much against right-handed pitchers, as he’s batting .241, with a .315 slugging percentage, and a .380 OPS.

Eury Perez has allowed a lot of hits in his last few outings, as he has allowed an average of 5.75 hits in his last 4 outings, and has a H/9 of 8.62 this season. I expect Garcia and the Phillies to keep the ball rolling, after their first successful series in a while.

Miami Marlins 3.5 Runs (-120 per DraftKings)

Miami finally returned from their West Coast trip, which went successful, as they went 3-3, and won their most recent series against the Dodgers. They’ve faced a ton of elite pitching lately, and that doesn’t stop tonight, as the Phillies have Zack Wheeler on the mound this evening, who pitched well in his season debut.

Wheeler ended up going a modest 5.0 innings, allowing just 3 hits, 2 earned runs, 3 walks, and had 6 strikeouts. Most of the guys in the Marlins lineup have struggled for the most part against Wheeler, outside of Otto Lopez, and Connor Norby, and a lot of guys haven’t seen him before.

In Wheeler’s last start against the Marlins, which came in April of last season, he went 7.0 innings, allowing just 2 runs. You’ve got to think Miami will be a little slow after their week out on the West Coast, and I expect Wheeler to be on his game tonight.

Ozzie Albies Over 1.5 Total Bases (-144 per DraftKings)

Ozzie Albies has been red hot lately, going 4 for 10 against the Tigers, accumulating 11 total bases. He and the Braves are facing Jose Quintana, who Albies has been very impressive against over the course of his career, batting .474, with 3 home runs, 4 RBIs, and a 1.553 OPS in 19 ABs.

Albies has managed to surpass 1.5 total bases in 5 of the last 10 games, and did so in every single game in the last series against Detroit. We’ve seen Albies absolutely dominate against lefties this year as well, as he has a .373 average, with a .647 slugging percentage.

Quintana has been a little up and down this year, with a 4.91 ERA, a 1.53 WHIP, and an 8.35 H/9. I look for Albies to continue his great play this evening, and he has the added benefit of playing in the high-altitude environment of Coors Field.

New York Mets vs. Los Angeles Angels 9:38 PM ET

New York Mets Over 4.5 Runs (-115 per DraftKings)

The New York Mets are coming off another lost series, this time to the Washington Nationals. They now make the trip out west to take on the Los Angeles Angels, who have also been struggling this season.

While the Mets didn’t win their last series, they have been better at the plate as of late, and some of the star players in the Mets lineup are starting to turn things around. We will see them against Walbert Urena tonight, who they haven’t seen before, but he comes in with a 4.76 ERA, in just 11.1 innings of work.

Angel Stadium also happens to rank as the 8th most hitter-friendly ballpark in the MLB this season, and the current over/under for this matchup is 9, indicating sportsbooks think a lot of runs will be scored tonight.
