4:30 p.m. ET: East Tennessee State at Mercer (-1.5, 151.5)

East Tennessee State (21-9) just saw their two-game win streak come to an end, coming up short against Wofford 72-69 and losing outright as 6.5-point home favorites. Meanwhile, Mercer (18-12) has lost two of their last three and just fell to Western Carolina 78-74, losing outright as 1.5-point road favorites.

This line opened at roughly a pick’em.

Sharps have gotten down on Mercer at home, driving the Bears up from a pick’em to a 1.5-point home favorite.

At DraftKings, Mercer is taking in 68% of spread bets and 81% of spread dollars, a sharp “low bets, higher dollars” bet split indicating slight public support but also heavy sharp action in their favor.

Many pros have specifically targeted Mercer on the moneyline at -125.

At DraftKings, Mercer is receiving 60% of moneyline bets and 72% of moneyline dollars, further evidence of sharp action coming down in favor of a straight up victory for the home team.

Mercer has the better offensive efficiency (124th vs 150th) and offensive rebound percentage (100th vs 259th). The Bears also grab more rebounds per game (38 vs 34).

Mercer is 13-1 at home this season. Tonight also happens to be Senior Night for the Bears, with three of their top seven leading scorers playing their final home game.

This is also a revenge play for the Bears, who lost to the Buccaneers 77-71 on the road back in early January.

5 p.m. ET: Alabama State at Alabama A&M (-2.5, 143.5)

Alabama State (9-19) has dropped two in a row and just fell to Florida A&M 76-63, losing outright as 1.5-point road favorites. On the other hand, Alabama A&M (16-12) just saw their four-game win streak come to an end, falling to Bethune Cookman 85-76 and failing to cover as 7-point road dogs.

This line opened with Alabama A&M listed as a 1.5-point home favorite.

Sharps have pounced on the Bulldogs laying short chalk at home, driving Alabama A&M up from -1.5 to -2.5.

At DraftKings, Alabama A&M is receiving 76% of spread bets and 85% of spread dollars. At Circa, Alabama A&M is receiving 50% of spread bets and 66% of spread dollars. Both books are showing a “low bets, higher dollars” sharp split in favor of the Bulldogs at home.

This line movement and bet split is especially important considering this is a tiny “added/extra” game with a 6-digit rotation number (306605-306606). In other words, the public has little to no interest in this overlooked matchup. However, based on the market analysis we can infer that pros have specifically targeted the game and sided with the home chalk.

Ken Pom has Alabama A&M winning by three points (73-70).

With this in mind, many sharps have looked to protect themselves by playing the Bulldogs on the moneyline at -135.

At DraftKings, Alabama A&M is taking in 77% of moneyline bets and a whopping 91% of moneyline dollars, further evidence of heavy pro action in favor of a straight up victory for the home team.

Alabama A&M has the better offensive efficiency (294th vs 328th), free-throw shooting (100th vs 241st) and limit their opponents to a better effective field goal percentage (214th vs 248th).

Alabama A&M is 11-3 at home this season. Alabama State is 3-15 on the road.

6 p.m. ET: Weber State at Idaho State (-2.5, 153.5)

Weber State (15-14) has won four of their last five and just dominated Montana 92-72, easily covering as 2.5-point favorites. Meanwhile, Idaho State (12-17) has won two straight and just brushed aside Montana State 91-76, cruising as 2-point home dogs.

This line opened with Idaho State listed as low as a 1-point home favorite.

Wiseguys have jumped on the Bengals at home, driving Idaho State up from -1 to -2.5.

At DraftKings, Idaho State is taking in 59% of spread bets and 67% of spread dollars, a sharp “low bets, higher dollars” bet discrepancy in their favor.

This is also one of the tiniest and lowest bet games of the night. As a result, we can infer that sharps have specifically targeted Idaho State based on the market analysis despite the public having zero interest in this overlooked matchup.

Ken Pom has Idaho State winning by one point (79-78).

With this in mind, bettors looking to protect themselves in the event of a close game may prefer a Bengals moneyline play at -140.

Idaho State has the better effective field goal percentage (122nd vs 164th), offensive rebound percentage (107th vs 120th) and free-throw shooting (65th vs 178th).

Idaho State is 8-5 at home. Weber State is 4-9 on the road. Tonight is also Senior Night for the Bengals, with three of their top four scorers playing their final home game.

This is a revenge play for Idaho State, who lost to Weber State on the road 81-79 back in late January.
