4:10 p.m. ET: Atlanta Braves at New York Mets (-120, 8.5)

The Mets (31-38) took last night’s series opener 7-5, hanging on as -130 home favorites.

In this afternoon’s rematch, the Braves (45-24) hand the ball to lefty Martin Perez (4-3, 3.02 ERA) and the Mets are expected to send out fellow southpaw Sean Manaea (1-1, 5.02 ERA).

This line opened at roughly a pick’em, with both sides listed around -110 odds.

The public can’t believe this game is a coin-flip and they’re rushing to the window to back Atlanta, who has the far better won-loss record.

However, despite 73% of moneyline bets at DraftKings taking the Braves we’ve seen the line move in favor of the Mets -110 to -120. This signals sharp reverse line movement on New York to earn another win at home, as the line has moved in their direction despite the being the unpopular play.

At DraftKings, the Mets are only receiving 27% of moneyline bets, making New York one of the top contrarian plays of the day.

Home favorites -140 or less, like the Mets here, are 188-138 (58%) with a 4% ROI this season.

Home favorites -140 or less facing an opponent who missed the playoffs the previous season are 122-83 (60%) with an 8% ROI this season.

Fishy below .500 home favorites receiving line movement in their favor against an above .500 team are 43-22 (66%) with a 13% ROI this season.

Perez has posted a 4.25 ERA on the road compared to 1.67 at home.

Meanwhile, Manaea has pitched well as of late, giving up only 5 earned runs in 15.2 innings pitched in his last four starts (2.96 ERA).

4:10 p.m. ET: Arizona Diamondbacks (-145, 9.5) at Cincinnati Reds

The Diamondbacks (35-34) won last night’s series opener 5-2, coming through as -105 road dogs.

In this afternoon’s rematch, the Diamondbacks start righty Michael Soroka (8-3, 3.28 ERA) and the Reds go with fellow righty Rhett Lowder (3-3, 5.01 ERA).

This line opened with Arizona listed as a -135 road favorite and Cincinnati a +115 home dog.

Sharps have pounced on the Diamondbacks laying modest road chalk, driving Arizona up from -135 to -145.

At DraftKings, Arizona is taking in 83% of moneyline bets and a whopping 99% of moneyline dollars, a one-way “low bets, higher dollars” sharp bet split in their favor.

Pros have also gotten down on the Diamondbacks run-line (-1.5 at +105), with Arizona taking in only 39% of spread bets but 76% of spread dollars at DraftKings.

Saturday favorites receiving steam of 10-cents or more in their direction, like the Snakes here, are 45-25 (64%) with a 5% ROI this season.

Arizona offers additional betting system value as a non-division favorite, with the lack of familiarity historically benefiting the “better” team who is expected to win.

Arizona is 8-5 in Soroka’s 13 starts this season.

On the other hand, the Reds are 0-4 in Lowder’s last four starts.

7:10 p.m. ET: Philadelphia Phillies at Milwaukee Brewers (-165, 8.5)

The Brewers (42-25) dominated last night’s series opener 6-0, taking care of business as -260 home favorites.

In tonight’s rematch, the Phillies (37-32) tap righty Aaron Nola (3-4, 5.86 ERA) and the Brewers go with lefty Shane Drohan (3-1, 3.11 ERA).

This line opened with Milwaukee listed as a -125 home favorite and Philadelphia a +105 road dog.

Sharps have gotten down hard on the Brewers to earn another home victory, steaming Milwaukee up from -125 to -165.

At DraftKings, Milwaukee is taking in 76% of moneyline bets and 96% of moneyline dollars, a one-way “low bets, higher dollars” Pro and Joe bet split in their favor.

Pros have also looked to pad the payout by targeting Milwaukee on the run-line (-1.5 at +130), as the Brewers are receiving only 40% of spread bets but a whopping 97% of spread dollars at DraftKings.

When both teams are above .500, as is the case here, the team receiving line movement in their favor has gone 90-54 (63%) with a 14% ROI this season.

Milwaukee has the edge offensively, hitting .254 with a .340 OBP and 358 runs scored compared to Philadelphia hitting .226 with a .296 OBP and only 276 runs scored.

The Brewers are hitting .260 against righties, 3rd best in MLB. Meanwhile, the Phillies are only hitting .220 against lefties (26th).

The Brewers are 9-2 in Drohan’s last 11 appearances. He has posted a 2.35 ERA at home compared to 4.30 on the road.
