The 2026 French Open (also known as Roland Garros) is nearing a conclusion at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris. We’ve broken down the day’s best tennis betting picks, digging into matchup tactics, surface tendencies, and current form to find the sharpest edges on the board. Whether you’re betting the moneyline, game spread, set spread, or total, our 2026 French Open best bets are designed to help you profit. I’m dropping some of my favorite plays for Friday, June 5 below, but make sure you also monitor the picks page. I usually have a few more picks over there, plus I occasionally add plays based on how lines are moving. That’s also where Gill Alexander posts his bets.

Zverev has a golden opportunity to win his first Grand Slam. He doesn’t have to go through Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, or Novak Djokovic, and he’s the only top-10 player remaining in the field. Zverev has also done a good job of keeping himself fresh, winning the matches he’s supposed to be winning without putting too much strain on his body. That should ultimately allow Zverev to win this tournament. However, beating Mensik in straight sets feels unlikely. These are two players with big serves, plus very similar baseline games. I expect the young Czech to serve his way to at least one set, especially with how clutch he was with the ball on his racquet against Joao Fonseca last round. So, rather than playing Zverev to win as a way to get a better price on the next match, I’m going Mensik to get on the board.
The play I like in the second match is Cobolli on the moneyline. It’s just outrageously pricey, which is why a parlay is necessary. But Cobolli should be able to beat his fellow countryman. Not only has Arnaldi spent an outrageous amount of time on the court, but Cobolli is just a better version of him. Cobolli gives you the same type of athleticism and court coverage, but he’s a little more dangerous when switching from defense to offense. He also has a little more upside as a server — even if he is also a little more inconsistent.
A Zverev-Cobolli final should also be what tennis fans are rooting for — if ignoring everything but the on-court stuff. Cobolli beat Zverev on clay in Munich a couple of months ago. This tournament is probably going Zverev’s way, but Cobolli’s best tennis can make him work for it.
