Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions

Baker Mayfield (over 253.5 pass yards -112): With Bucky Irving out another week, and with it looking more and more like Mike Evans will be back tonight, I could see a heavy passing approach from the Buccaneers. Mayfield has averaged 256.5 passing yards per game and has surpassed his current passing yards projection in three straight contests. Given that this game will be played in a dome, there will be no wind issues, allowing the Buccaneers to air it out if they choose to do so.

Rachaad White (anytime touchdown +105): When the Buccaneers have been in the red zone over the past two weeks, they’ve looked to Rachaad White quite a bit. Since he became the feature back, we’ve seen him on roughly 80% of Tampa Bay’s offensive snaps, and at plus value, he’s a solid option—especially compared to some of the star players on the Lions. Through Detroit’s first six games, we’ve also seen the Lions allow 0.8 rushing touchdowns per game, while the Buccaneers have averaged 0.8 rushing touchdowns per game themselves.

Houston Texans vs. Seattle Seahawks

Sam Darnold (over 227.5 pass yards -113): Sam Darnold enters this game against the Houston Texans averaging 256.8 yards per game. Darnold has developed quick chemistry with the players around him this season—particularly with Jaxon Smith-Njigba—and has been fairly efficient outside of the first two games of the year. There is some concern, as the Texans rank fifth in the NFL in opponent passing yards per game (175.2), but this will be the strongest passing offense they’ve faced since Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We’ve also seen Darnold’s projection drop quite a bit from the 230s, making the over at 227.5 an appealing value.

Nick Chubb (under 37.5 rush yards -109): Nick Chubb hasn’t gotten off to the strongest start this season, as he’s averaging just 49.8 yards per game. While that number is a good bit above the current projection, the Seahawks boast one of the best rush defenses in the NFL, ranking third in rushing yards allowed per game (79). Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen Woody Marks get a high volume of carries alongside Chubb, and that trend should continue with both backs healthy.
