Knicks Keep Winning. The Trends Keep Cashing. The Knicks apparently aren’t buying into the Zig-Zag theory.
New York won its 13th playoff game in a row, blowing a late lead before coming back to beat the Spurs 105-104 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Friday night.
The result reinforced two trends we featured before the Finals started:
The NBA Finals outright-winner trend is now 64-3-3 ATS (95.5%) over the last 11 seasons.
Finals games have now gone 31-13-1 Under (70.5%) over the last 45 contests after Friday night’s Game 2 stayed below the total.

Zach Cohen’s NBA Report
The Knicks tried extremely hard to give Game 2 away, but in the end it was Victor Wembanyama that beat them to it.
In a tie game, with 11.8 seconds left, Wembanyama secured a rebound and threw an awful outlet pass to Stephon Castle, who wasn’t looking at him. The ball landed right in Jalen Brunson’s hands, Wembanyama fouled him, and then New York’s closer made a free throw to put the Knicks up one.
Then, on the other end of the floor, the Spurs ran a play for Wembanyama, who missed a midrange jumper that would have won San Antonio the game.
With the victory, the Knicks became the third team in NBA Finals history to win the first two games of a series on the road. DraftKings opened New York as a 2.5-point favorite for Monday’s Game 3, and the team will likely be a trendy favorite.
Stanley Cup Final Game 3The Stanley Cup Final has produced two scintillating games — unless you’ve been on the wrong side of them.
Up two goals with 10 minutes left and a chance to take a commanding 2-0 series lead, the Golden Knights watched Carolina rally for a 4-3 overtime win Thursday night.
Game 3 is tonight (8 ET, ABC) in Las Vegas with both Vegas and Carolina priced at -106 at Circa as of Friday night.
