The 2026 French Open (also known as Roland Garros) is nearing a conclusion at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris. We’ve broken down the day’s best tennis betting picks, digging into matchup tactics, surface tendencies, and current form to find the sharpest edges on the board. Whether you’re betting the moneyline, game spread, set spread, or total, our 2026 French Open best bets are designed to help you profit. I’m dropping some of my favorite plays for Thursday, June 4 below, but make sure you also monitor the picks page. I usually have a few more picks over there, plus I occasionally add plays based on how lines are moving. That’s also where Gill Alexander posts his bets.
Marta Kostyuk vs. Mirra Andreeva
If you’re looking to take someone in this match, you might as well take it a step further and back them to win the tournament. Well, I like Andreeva’s chances of defeating Kostyuk here. Kostyuk has been one of the most impressive players on tour over the last few months, as she won a title in Madrid and came over to Paris to knock off Iga Swiatek. Kostyuk’s run in Spain also happened to include a straight-set win over Andreeva, adding another layer to this. I do, however, think it’s hard to win multiple 50-50 matches in a row against the same opponent. The top players are so good at making adjustments, and Andreeva has an awesome team in her corner. I expect her to have a better plan in place when she faces Kostyuk.
As far as the conditions go, I think Andreeva is in decent shape here. If the roof is open, things will be slow and windy. I know a lot of people will find it difficult to back Andreeva under those circumstances, as she does run a little hot and maybe that’ll frustrate her. However, she also happens to have a Coco Gauff-like ability to grind out ugly wins with her insane defense. I also believe that Kostyuk’s forehand can potentially leak errors in windy conditions. If the roof isn’t open, this becomes a little more like the matchup we saw in Madrid in that things become a little easier on the server. However, that should favor Andreeva, as she can use the help as long as the points from the back of the court aren’t ending as quickly.
I just don’t think there’s much that separates these two players, so I was already enticed by Andreeva at plus-money odds. But when you throw in the revenge factor, I give an edge to Andreeva. Then, I think she’ll handle her business against the winner of Chwalinska-Shnaider.
FUTURE: Andreeva To Win French Open (+233 – 2.5 units)
Maja Chwalinska vs. Diana Shnaider
Embed from Getty ImagesThis is an outrageous semifinals matchup to see at a major. Perhaps that’s a little disrespectful to Shnaider, who has been as high as No. 11 in the rankings. But she’s currently the No. 23 player in the world, and seeing her name next to Chwalinska’s is jarring. Still, even with the discrepancy in the rankings, give me the unknown underdog — who would become a well-known Cinderella with a victory.
You never know how an inexperienced player will perform on a big stage. The moment can become too big at any point in time. But Chwalinska looked plenty comfortable in her straight-set win over Anna Kalinskaya. The Pole continues to flash her clay-court prowess, beating opponents with her slower groundstroke pace and overall craftiness. Well, why can’t that get the better of Shnaider, who can occasionally swing too big and be a little wild?
Shnaider has been a good clay-court player in her career, and the fact she’s a lefty means she shouldn’t be thrown off by Chwalinska being a southpaw. But I don’t think she should be close to -200 against a player that has won far more clay-court matches than her. This might as well be the only surface Chwalinska plays.
Bet: Chwalinska ML (+162)
